SPONSOR
Sweetwater Filtration Systems Inc d/b/a Sweetwater Home Services, with its principal place of business located at 1724 Cheddar Loop, Austin, Texas 78728
By entering the Sweetwater Home Services Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the State of Texas who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Limit one (1) entry per person and one (1) entry per household.
Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses), and persons residing in the same household as any such individual, are not eligible to participate.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time on June 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CDT on August 31, 2026.
Sponsor’s server shall serve as the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
HOW TO ENTER
During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible entrants may enter the Sweepstakes by completing and submitting the online entry form accessible through Sponsor’s designated Sweepstakes landing page.
Alternative Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible entrants may alternatively enter the Sweepstakes by mailing a postcard or letter containing their full name, address, telephone number, email address, and the words “Reverse Osmosis System Sweepstakes Entry” to: Sweetwater Home Services, 1724 Cheddar Loop, Austin, Texas 78728. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than August 31, 2026 and received no later than September 7, 2026. Each mail-in entry must be submitted in a separate envelope. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person.
Both methods of entry will receive equal treatment and have equal odds of winning.
GRAND PRIZE
One (1) RainSoft Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System will be awarded.
Model: RainSoft Ultrafiner Elite, Part No. 21682.
Approximate Retail Value: $1,690.00.
The Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No substitution shall be permitted except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
The Grand Prize includes only the item expressly identified above (or a substitute prize of equal or greater value in the event the Grand Prize becomes unavailable). Any delivery, transportation, or installation costs, modifications, upgrades, accessories, permitting costs, maintenance, or other costs associated with receipt or use of the Grand Prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner unless expressly agreed otherwise by Sponsor in writing.
WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS
One (1) potential Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about September 9, 2026 at Sponsor’s principal place of business, located at 1724 Cheddar Loop, Austin, Texas 78728.
The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative.
Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Sponsor’s decisions regarding winner selection and all aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIM
The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone, email, or other contact information provided during entry.
The potential winner must respond within five (5) business days of Grand Prize notification and will be required to complete and return an executed and notarized Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Consent (where lawful), and any other documents reasonably requested by Sponsor within ten (10) business days of such notification.
The Grand Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected through a subsequent random drawing if the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time period, is determined to be ineligible, fails to timely execute required documentation, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules.
GRAND PRIZE CLAIM DEADLINE
The Grand Prize winner must complete all prize claim requirements and coordinate delivery of the Grand Prize within thirty (30) calendar days following Grand Prize notification.
Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize and selection of an alternate winner.
TAXES
The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance, receipt, or use of the Grand Prize. Sponsor may request tax information or documentation from the winner and may issue IRS Form 1099 or other applicable tax reporting documentation as required by law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, fulfillment agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of the Grand Prize.
The Released Parties are not responsible for:
1. incorrect or inaccurate entry information;
2. lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or illegible entries;
3. technical malfunctions, failures, errors, or omissions of any kind, including failures of electronic equipment, computer systems, servers, networks, or software;
4. unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries;
5. human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes; or
6. any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that affects the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Sweepstakes.
If the Sweepstakes is promoted, advertised, or conducted through Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or any other social media platform, the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with such platform. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants release Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and any other applicable social media platform from any and all liability arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes.
Nothing in these Official Rules shall limit or exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
INTERNET ENTRIES
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it is unable to operate as planned due to causes including, but not limited to, computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond Sponsor’s control that affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.
For internet entries, in the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant or Grand Prize winner, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used to enter the Sweepstakes. The “Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person assigned to that email address by the internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., a business or educational institution) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, corrupted, or misdirected entries resulting from technical or transmission failures. Sponsor is not responsible for problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, hardware, or software, for failure of email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or for injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer, device, or data related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading materials from any Sweepstakes-related website.
AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY, LIABILITY RELEASE AND PUBLICITY CONSENT
As a condition of receiving the Grand Prize, the potential winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion and return of an executed and notarized Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Consent, unless prohibited by law, and any other documents reasonably requested by Sponsor. All required documents must be returned within ten (10) business days of Grand Prize notification.
PUBLICITY
By accepting the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize winner agrees to allow Sponsor to use their name, image, and likeness in any advertising, promotional, or publicity materials in any media now known or hereafter developed, as Sponsor may determine, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.sweetwaterhomeservices.com/privacypolicy. Sponsor may use entrant information for purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION; ARBITRATION; CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Except where prohibited by law, all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in the judicial district in which the entrant resides, unless the parties mutually agree otherwise.
The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration provision, including any claim that all or any part of this arbitration provision is void or voidable.
The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Arbitration fees and costs shall be allocated in accordance with the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and applicable law.
Any demand for arbitration must be filed within the time period permitted by the applicable statute of limitations.
Except as required by law, arbitration proceedings and any resulting award shall remain confidential.
Entrant agrees that any Claim must be brought solely in the entrant’s individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. No entrant shall have the right to participate in, maintain, or recover relief in any class action, collective action, representative action, or other proceeding involving claims of other individuals.
This Section and any Claim arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
If any provision of this Section is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder of this Section shall remain in full force and effect.
GENERAL CONDITIONS; SPONSOR AUTHORITY
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to comply fully with these Official Rules and acknowledges that Sponsor’s decisions regarding all aspects of the Sweepstakes—including, without limitation, eligibility determinations, entry validation, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and interpretation of these Official Rules—are final and binding.
Sponsor is solely responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes, including the collection, receipt, and processing of entries. Entrants should direct any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the Sweepstakes to Sponsor. All entries and related materials submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, violating these Official Rules, or submitting entries through fraudulent or improper means. Automated, robotic, scripted, macro-generated, or other fraudulent entries are prohibited and will be disqualified.
Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules, in whole or in part, if the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned due to fraud, technical failures, a force majeure event, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.
No waiver of any provision of these Official Rules shall constitute a waiver of any other provision or of that provision on any other occasion. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Nothing in these Official Rules shall be construed to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
